  • Position Summary

    • Be the communications conduit between the product owners , support, sales, marketing and development teams.
    • Gather requirements from product owners and other sources via meetings, analysis, use cases, user stories, task, business and workflow analysis.
    • Challenge and contribute to the product owners and development teams with your own ideas.
    • Analyse the requirements and identify problems and propose solutions.
    • Deliver documentation as required, including user stories, use cases, GUI design, UML diagrams, UAT, screen layout, process flow, etc., in both technical and natural language.
    • Working in conjunction with the development team, research, plan, coordinate and recommend software and system choices that will meet the product requirements.
    • Work on multiple products/projects simultaneously.
    • Be involved throughout the development cycle to validate the requirements and ensure that they are implemented appropriately.

    Requirements

    • Previous experience of requirements gathering (functional, non-functional and technical) and analysis for agile software development.
    • Strong understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need to interact with a diverse range of people and teams, both in the UK and abroad.
    • Client and commercially aware.
    • Self-motivated, detail orientated person and a good team player

  • Position summary

    Your role will include development of a new product as well as continued development of our current product lines and internal systems. You will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle, from the design stage, to coding and testing. Good communication skills are essential, both verbal and written. You will be working on award winning products so you will have excellent analytical skills and enthusiasm, attention to detail, enjoy problem solving and take enormous pride in your work.

    Previous development experience with Sage accounting products and Microsoft SharePoint are desirable.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years experience of C# with .NET 2.0
    • Experience of SQL
    • Knowledge of WinForms development
    • Knowledge of ASP.NET / web development
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Desirable - previous experience of SharePoint development
    • Desirable - knowledge of C++
    • Desirable - knowledge of working with COM
